Today marked the end of the 2010 Provincial Mixed Curling Championships held in Martensville. Congratulations to the Slupski rink from Moose Jaw who took home the championship! I was proud to be playing in this event as well, with my mom and two of my good friends playing on my team. My team finished with 3 wins and 3 losses, one game out of a playoff spot. It was a fun time, we played well, but just came up short on a few shots. However, I do get bragging rights in my house, as my twin brother Kevin was also playing in the event, but only won one game.

I just finished up curling for the year on the weekend. I went out to Rosetown for the "Rosebowl", an 80 team bonspiel. My team finished second, which kind of sucks because we missed out on winning a golf trip valued at $2000. We each won a pretty nice pressure washer for second place, but I will definitely sell mine.
